Philosophy & Approach

Coty’s classes are geared towards helping individuals find their ideal yoga practice. Students can expect some type of chanting, mindfulness, or pranayama in her classes. She often uses the gong or chimes to calm the nervous system and help students absorb the practice. She has studied with a variety of teachers. She most influenced by the teachers of the lineage of T.K.V. Desikachar, including her most recent instructors, Jenny Orona and Chase Bossart.

Class Options & Focus

Coty offers both group classes and private instruction for people interested in reducing stress, alleviating insomnia, or addressing trauma.

• 200-hour Hatha Flow • 500-hour Hatha Flow • 40-hour Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga • 40-hour Sadie Nardini Core Strength Vinyasa • Yoga Therapy 800-hour course, C-IAYT.
